Erasing Plastic

For Christmas, I asked for some plastic-free hygiene items. I got some nice soap, shampoo and conditioner. So far, they’ve worked out really well. Unfortunately, using these items has only made me realize how difficult it is to make a dent in my overall plastic consumption. I feel like I’ve reduced plastic in my house by maybe .5%. Everything comes packaged in plastic. This seems like a Sisyphean effort.
