🍿 Always Be My Maybe: This is a rom-com with a heavy emphasis on the com. There is a lot of humor in this film, with some of the funniest bits mined from the depths of celebrity culture and the absurdity of modern life. Keanu Reeves nails his scenes with a faux-authenticity that caricatures his persona. The two principals, Ali Wong and Randall Park both pull off the hilarious and the touching moments with equal skill.

Note: It’s strange to hear Karan Soni talk about weed in this movie the same way he talks about Diet Coke in commercials.
